Summary

  • Restyled the Advanced settings action buttons (Enable Developer Mode, Reconnect server, Stop local server, Disconnect server) to match the compact button language from the shared button exploration.
  • Reworked update CTA buttons in both Session and Dashboard sidebars (desktop + mobile header) to a more discreet status-line style with state-specific dot, text, and version tones.
  • Kept existing update behavior intact (open settings when update is available/downloading, install directly when ready and no active runs).

Verification

  • pnpm --filter @different-ai/openwork-ui typecheck
  • pnpm --filter @different-ai/openwork-ui test:health
  • pnpm --filter @different-ai/openwork-ui build ⚠️ fails in this environment with Cannot find module @rollup/rollup-darwin-arm64 (optional Rollup native package missing).
  • Started Docker stack with packaging/docker/dev-up.sh, verified via Chrome MCP on the running UI, and confirmed a session send/response smoke flow (smoke: hello from chrome mcp).

Screenshots

Use compact button treatments so update and connection controls are easier to scan without overpowering the rest of the interface.
